What it does: The step 'Type the message' is left out, so Send has nothing to send. A missing step changes the result. Each step happens in a sensible order, so the sequence works. Putting the steps in the right order is the key to a correct sequence. Changing the order changes the result. If you rinse first, you finish with a mouth full of toothpaste. This one is tricky. Leaving out a step like setting up your space can cause problems. Always check that no steps are missing. An extra step that does not help the goal can change the result or waste time. Remove it to fix the sequence.
Common mistakes: The steps are in the wrong order. The butter is spread before the bread is toasted. Line 2 should be 'Put bread in the toaster'. This is an extra step. The toothpaste was already added in step 2, so adding it again after brushing is not needed. Line 4 should be 'Spit into the sink'.
