Emerging digital tools
A new or fast-changing technology, like an AI assistant, online whiteboard or interactive-video maker, that creators use to make and share content in new ways.
Understanding Emerging digital tools in Years 9–10 Data & Information
What it does: Emerging tools get updated often, so a feature you used last month may have moved or changed. Checking updates keeps your content working. Searching and reading reviews is one way to find emerging tools, and a free option lets you test one without paying. An emerging digital tool is new or fast-changing technology that creators use to make and share content in new ways. A printed poster is not digital. New does not always mean better. Test a tool against your audience and purpose before you rely on it. Finding new tools safely means using trusted sources. Random links can lead to unsafe downloads or scams.
Common mistakes: An IF statement needs the keyword THEN after its condition. The line should be IF cost = "free" THEN. The list of new tools is missing its closing square bracket. It should end with ] so the list is complete.
